Kathmandu, March 2 (RSS): Secretary of the National Private and Boarding Schools’ Association, Subash Neupane, has announced candidacy for the post of National PABSON chair to be elected from the coming seventh national convention. He announced the candidacy for the chair with the resolution that he would provide able leadership to the organization and make efforts to solve problems facing education sector.
Also the founder and executive director of Apex Life School, Neupane organized a press meet and reiterated that he would make genuine efforts to protect the rights of institutional schools and quality education. As he vowed, his works would also focus on narrowing down the gap between the private and government schools.
The National PABSON is holding its seven general convention on coming March 6 and 7. Neupane has already served as the chair of Kathmandu district chapter of National PABSON. He also made public his 13-point plan, including construction of central office building of National PABSON, and increasing contribution to the national disaster relief fund. He further argued that the private and boarding schools have contributed much to national educational advancement. Able human resources are produced by such schools, which he said, have helped boost socio-economic transformation of the country. —
